J.Dee and I just completed the endless setlist on Rock Band 2. I was on expert bass and J.Dee was on expert guitar. It took us over 8 hours to complete. At the end, we won 51 million fans, got 404 out of a possible 420 stars, and three achievements worth 100 gamerscore. A special thanks to FatalPenguin, who watched almost the entire thing on our live stream.

Flash Game Friday: Sonny
Posted by austinreynolds on February 27, 2009
Sonny is a flash RPG. For being a flash game, it has very good graphics. The combat is turn-based and it will take you quite a while to complete the game. This is one of the best flash games I have played in a while.

PSP 2 Will Be A Lot Different
Posted by austinreynolds on February 26, 2009
There has been no official announcement from Sony, but there have been several websites (Including major ones such as IGN) that have said the PSP 2 will have a touch screen and will not have a disc drive. If this rumor is true, then this will be a major change from the original PSP. But that could be a good thing, because I personally think the PSP sucked.

Lost Planet 2 Announced
Posted by austinreynolds on February 24, 2009
Lost Planet 2 will be the sequel to Capcom’s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. Many of us here at the site were big fans of the first game and this one looks even better. Lost Planet 2 will feature a 4 player co-op mode. Unlike the first game, you will not be fighting in snow the whole time, so it will be interesting to see how the game plays out in other environments. This game looks like it has the graphics to rival those of Gears of War 2. No release date has been set, but I am going to guess we will see this game ship around fall (This is just a guess, don’t get mad if I am wrong.). Capcom also released a trailer that is shown below. This game will be released on the Xbox360, Playstation 3, and for PC.

Spore Review
Posted by kirbygopoyo on February 24, 2009
System: PC
Release Date: Already released
Developer: Maxis
Publisher: Electronic Arts
Price: $49.99
ESRB Rating: E10+ Animated Blood, Comic Mischief, Fantasy Violence
Score: 9.5
Spore is a single player game that is connected to the online in a means to interact with others. There is currently no multi-player but it is connected to others your creations can be sent to the online “Sporepedia” to allow others to see them. This can also be use to download other peoples creations. This game is the definition of customizable. All the way through your life, you will customize something. Like when you get to the civilization stage, you will be able to make your buildings and your vehicles. This game also will allow you to free-roam around the galaxy, in your made ship. In this you can go to any star in the galaxy ANY! There are almost TOO many! And depending on what you’ve downloaded, will depend on what you find in the universe. Lets say you downloaded a version of a gorilla. You may find it in your galaxy. But enough with the ranting, you start off as a single celled organism.(Which you can customize!) Eventually you evolve and grow legs so you can emerge from the depths onto the shore and begin your wrath! Or not you can choose, you can ally with your other creatures or you can devour them all. I believe that his is one of the best computer games I have played. I recommend this as a buy to any computer gamer still out there.

This Saturday at around 1:00 central time, J.Dee and I will be attempting the Endless Setlist 2 on Rock Band 2. I will be playing expert bass while he plays expert guitar. We will be streaming the event at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/www.austinreynolds.wordpress.com. We definately don’t expect for any of you to watch us for the whole eight or nine hours, but it would be cool if you could come and watch for a few minutes. On Saturday we will post another update right before we start streaming.

Monster Vs. Aliens Preview
Posted by jimbaba on February 23, 2009
This game is based off of Dreamworks new movie Monsters Vs. Aliens, in the game you play as three different characters, B.O.B., Gigantor, and The Missing Link. All three of the people have different tasks to do. B.O.B has to gloop around whacking thinks with his gloopy head and spitting things at people. Gigantor skates around jumping, avoiding, and killing things. The Missing Link’s levels seem to resemble Ratchet and Clank’s level layout a little much, but what you do as him is really just an average beat-um-up with a little platforming. This game isn’t absolutely awful but it isn’t something I will be buying so don’t hope to much on a full review of the game.

Last Remnant DLC
Posted by jimbaba on February 23, 2009
The March of War DLC for Last Remnant costs 100 Microsoft points and only includes three new formations. The formations that come with this DLC are the Scatterswarm, Goblet and Catapult. All three of these formations are worthless seeing how half way through the game they become much weaker then most of the others you have got up to this point. So this DLC is pointless don’t even bother getting it.
